Ralph Robbins, Managing General Partner
Since 1985, Ralph has directed the acquisition of more than $90 million of investment property, and the management of over 800 rental units in Chicago. As a lifelong Chicago-area resident, he has a strong familiarity with Chicago’s north side and suburban neighborhoods. His ability to secure financing and structure favorable loan terms has been instrumental to the success of his real estate acquisitions. He attended Roosevelt University in Chicago.

Sheldon Ashman, Managing General Partner
Since 1990, Sheldon has been actively involved in the acquisition and management of more than $90 million worth of rental properties on the north side of Chicago, representing almost 800 units. Prior to that, he worked as a real estate consultant and held several managerial positions outside the real estate field as well. He contributes innovative ideas on property management to real estate management publications, and is a graduate of Northeastern University.

Allen Shechtman, Managing General Partner
Since 1985, Allen has been involved in the acquisition of over 800 rental units valued at over $90 million. For 19 years he worked for W.W. Grainger, Inc., the country’s largest wholesale industrial distributor as director of brand communications as well as manager of advertising and public relations. He earned a Master of Management degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Allen taught at the University of Chicago's Graham School of Continuing Education as an adjunct instructor of marketing for five years and is now a guest lecturer there.
